Dubai airport

Nope.

Couldn't find any facilities. The airport is incredibly busy with large groups of people sleeping and eating and camping out along all the corridors & floors, even laying out mats to sleep on. Trying to find a quiet space to feed would have been impossible.

Thank goodness the stop-over was short & I fed my son shortly before we landed and shortly after we took off again. I dont know what I would have done if the flight had been delayed.

Heathrow Airport terminal 3

Terrible facilities at Heathrow terminal 3. Given how busy the airport terminal is and how many families fly with young children, having two cubicles (that lock) that double up as a nappy changing facility & "nursing room" a plastic chair that is inside the nappy room along with the 4 smelly nappy bins, it's a real disgrace and really pays lip service only to the idea.

We were lucky and the room was empty, but having changed our eldest whilst I breastfed the youngest, and then changed him, the queue outside was huge (sorry!) and some poor parents were resorting to changing their child on the floor outside.

The "nursing" room was also filthy dirty and looked like it had been weeks since a cleaner had last been there.

Cambridge

Two locations, Cambridge (UK):

1) Lion Yard, public amenities - there's a baby changing area next to the toilet cubicles, in the ladies toilets. There's a plastic chair hidden away discretely. It's a public toilet so it's a bit smelly, and it's not very comfortable, but it will do.

2) Robert Sayle / John Lewis - the new building next to the post office in the centre of town. On the third floor there are lovely amenities, including a fantastic parent & child toilet area with a toddler sized & height toilet bowl & seat. There's even a hot/cold water dispenser with plastic cups! Only gripe would be that there isnt enough buggy space - there are 3 comfy seats for feeding, but no room to put the buggys out of the way whilst you are feeding.

Singapore Airport

Singapore airport now have a kid's area behind the GST rebate desk, once you have checked in & after customs / immigration.

There's a playground, changing facilities, and two lockable rooms where you can feed your child. Clean, well maintained, and pleasant.

Welcome!

I was inspired to set up this blog because I was visiting friends & family, whilst breastfeeding, and didn't have an easy reference for safe places to breastfeed my noisy inquisitive 5 month old son. "Hey world look at mum's booby!" *sigh*

I thought "wouldn't it be great to have somewhere where I can look up good places to feed?" but alas I couldn't find anything.

So.... I set up this blog. Hopefully with the help of others I can provide a useful resource for breastfeeding mums around the world!

Please send me your locations, reviews, suggestions & photos (if you have them) so I can include them on here at:
